“When women and girls gain knowledge, income, good health and a voice in decisions, they lift their families and strengthen their communities.”

04Advocate
05Strengthen

NJIA applies a community-led, rights-based and evidence-driven approach. We combine direct services at village level with policy engagement at district and national level, so that the lives of individual women improve while the systems around them become fairer.

01Policy and Legal Reforms+

Advocating for stronger laws and policies, and for their effective implementation, to build a fairer and more inclusive society.

02Addressing Structural Barriers+

Challenging the inequality, poverty and discrimination that restrict women's opportunities, and creating pathways to equal opportunity.

03Capacity Building+

Strengthening the skills, knowledge, leadership and systems of women, groups and community structures to unlock their full potential.

04Evidence-Based Advocacy and Accountability Frameworks+

Using data, research and analysis to inform advocacy, drive change and ensure results.

05Strategic Communication, Partnerships and Networking+

Amplifying women's voices and building alliances that create lasting impact.
